Customer Street will be starting off 2008 with teams based in 6 locations within the UK and Spain, in total these locations house over 500 members of staff. Can you imagine how soulless it would be to work in an office the size of an aircraft hanger and be just one of 500 other people who turn up to work each day? This just isn't the Customer Street way of doing things. We want happy staff in our offices because if our teams are happy, they are productive and at the end of the day the old adage is very true, success breeds success.

We want our people to be more than just a number or a nameless face and our offices are kept deliberately smaller than traditional contact centres so that we get to know our staff and they get to know us which in turn helps to develop and maintain a much stronger team spirit. Our regional teams will regularly hold fundraising events so that we can give a little back to the communities that we work in. Comic Relief and Children in Need are just two of the mainstream charities that Customer Street staff regularly support.

Whether it's a dress down day or a sponsored event our teams will rise to any challenge. In 2007 Customer Street came out in force to support the children of The Loyne School in Lancaster, many of whom are severely disabled or have other special needs. This huge fundraiser which culminated in a family night for Customer Street staff and the families of children at the Loyne School raised well in excess of £3000, helping to tip the school over the amount of money they needed to contribute towards unlocking a £340,000 special status grant.
